Scott was trailing 8 – 0 at one stage and must have been dreading a similar result to last years final where he won just 2 legs. This year was to be different though:

“When it went to 8-0, I just told myself with true Yorkshire grit to concentrate and just play my darts, and suddenly I drew level and then went in front! Once that happened I wasn’t going to go behind again. But to be honest, it still hasn’t sunk in and I will be in work in the morning!”
