WDF World Cup 2011 Youth Pairs Finals

Max Hopp and Ann-Kathrin Wigmann of Germany played Jake Jones and Fallon Sherrock will played in a best of 11 matchup. 

England started strong in the first leg with a 180 coming from Jones.  They took the first leg in 20 darts.  In the 2nd leg, England missed an attempt at the double and Germany took advantage to even the match 1-1.  England again missed an opportunity at the double and Wigmann took advantage this time. 

In the 4th leg, it was Germany who missed the double and Jones of England checked out a 19 to even the match at 2 all.  In the 5th leg, several attempts by both teams were made at the double but it was England who hit it first to win the 5th leg and then the 6th to go up 4-2.

In  the 7th leg, Hopp hit a 140 to leave Germany 100 but Jones came back with a 180 to leave 36.  Germany did not have an attempt at the double but England failed to hit the double and the leg went to Germany. 

England bounced back strong in the 8th leg and took the 9th as well to give England the WDF World Cup 2011 Youth Pairs title.
