Press release: Egmond aan Zee, Sunday the 30st of October 2011 - By Henk Westerdaal
The wildcard allocated to the Dutch Darts Bond (NDB) has been awarded to Salmon Renyaan for his victory in the NDB Play-off event. In the last match of the day against a former CLoD winner Ron Meulenkamp he won 5-0. Before the match started both players had won an equal number of matches so this was the decider.
The 35 year old dart player from Groningen was delighted to receive the wildcard from NDB director, Niels de Ruiter (left) and the usual papers and best wishes of one of the promoters, Gerard Elderenbosch (right)
